One of the most rewarding feelings in the world is accomplishing a goal but especially one that you are truly passionate about.
Our deepest desires reveal our deepest truths of our soul. At the depths of our ‘core being’ lives a gift.
THIS GIFT IS BOTH TO KEEP AND TO GIVE
Many of us have been called to start or to grow something even greater.
In this article I’m going to share 5 simple steps to starting your Spiritual Business.
STEP 1: SEEK GOD FIRST!
Yeah! This is actually a step and it is in deed step #1
One can not expect to run a fruitful Spiritual Business if you take the spiritual out.
In all things we all should seek first the guidance of God and all our needs will be provided for (Matthew 6:33) especially in Spiritual Business.
Being a Spiritual•prenuer means you have all the responsibilities as an entrepreneur but with a Cosmic commitment to uphold.
STEP 2: MAKE A PLAN & WRITE IT DOWN
You are 8x more likely to accomplish a goal if you write it down.
And I will add, if you transform your goals into a series of check lists.
We all enjoy a good challenge.
Tricking your mind into playing a game not only makes things more interesting but brings out ones competitive nature.
When presented with a series of smaller simpler goals that you know with a little effort you will accomplish, your setting yourself up for conquering the big goal.
You want to start a blog. Sounds simple until you focus on step 3 and you quickly realize that it’s more to it than what meets the eye.
📌 Instead of looking at the end result as a finished product, look at it as puzzle with many small pieces that forms the finished product.
- Find your niche
- Pick a name
- Find your platform for hosting
- Find several topics to write about within your niche
- Write, edit, post
- Go live and share!
AND YOU HAVE A BLOG! But see how I broke down the huge task into bite sized steps.
Within each step break that step into several steps. For example, finding your niche may require you to research several notches that your interested in to determine which is suitable for your blog.
STEP 3: STUDY YOUR CRAFT
Great individuals study other Greats!
Not to say you copy word-for-word or another’s actions but you can learn a lot from others accomplishments and failures.
STEP 4: SET A DATE
Setting a date puts pressure on you to complete what you said you would do.
This also puts a foundation in place to build a productive timeline.
Our natural tendencies are to create the illusion that, “there’s always time, I can start it later.”
The popular phrase says it best…
TIME WAITS ON NO MAN…OR WOMAN
Another great quote is…
But I ask…
“WHY PUT OFF TOMORROW WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY?”
If you have the disease of procrastination than this is a great question to ask yourself.
STEP 5: JUST DO IT
The number one hangup for starting a business is just NOT DOING IT!
We all can come up with a million different excuses and ‘valid reasons’ why we should wait or even convince ourselves that it will never workout.
If The Spirit Moves You than DO IT!
You can not allow the excuse train to stop at the stop before your desired stop.
Would you park the street over from your house? Or would you continue until you pulled up to YOUR house?
When you step out on FAITH someway everything falls into place!
